Recorded to analog tape in 1999 but left on the cutting room floor, “Way Out” was one of the first songs ever tracked by 16 year old multi-instrumentalist Bryce Avary, aka, The Rocket Summer, and gives a glimpse into the now 25 year career that ensued to date.
Freshly Mixed in 2024 by Bryce Avary after finding the tapes, and Mastered by legendary engineer, Alan Douches (The Promise Ring, LCD Soundsystem) this unearthed buried treasure sounds authentically like 1999 but mixed in 2024.
